As the saying goes, Saint Paddy’s is the day that everyone is Irish. We at CitySpk also like to think that it is the day when the liquor puts a certain greenish hue to the whole damn world. So if someone asks you how you are, tell them that you are grand. And more to the point, so bloody godamned grand that it is all coming at you in green flashes… we raise our glasses to you, with a smattering of selections from our copious photo bank. ta.

A week has already gone by and many of you have been testing our Beta site and sending us comments. A few days ago, our collaborator Eamon MacMahon has started his West-Coast journey. Over the next weeks, he will be adding Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas to our list of cities. As you can see, Vancouver, London and Toronto are about to be completed. Just a few more missing glyphs and they’ll be released. By the way, we are looking for another letter “Z” from London. So for any of you in Great Britain, get your camera and shoot.

It’s been a crazy ride for us the past few days. We’re not talking about the American elections here. We’re talking about CitySPK Beta coming alive at last. Although we still have some work tightening up loose bolts here and there, we’ve gotten excellent feedback from the early testers. That means you!
Tell us what you think of CitySPK Beta. Whether you like it, you hate it, you found a bug, or it inspired you to start taking photos of your city. Please write us, email us, SMS, send us a video, fax us, send a smoke signal, or write it on a wall and send us the photo. We want your feedback. 

It is finally done. CitySPK Beta is almost launched. Our first photographers did an amazing job documenting the words of about 15 cities. And it is only the beginning.
Starting November 3rd,  you - everybody - can use CitySPK to compose messages, to visit new neighborhoods and to travel the world. Most of all, it is now up to you to take out your digital camera and to re-discover the street you walk every morning, to see your city with new eyes. Let’s see your best shots uploaded to the site!
